Places on the borough boundary

Four of the places we cover sit across the edge of the borough. Cockfosters is shared with Enfield, New Southgate with Enfield and Haringey, Edgware with Harrow, and Cricklewood with Brent, where the Edgware Road is the dividing line. We fit worktops on both sides. It only matters if your kitchen work needs planning permission, such as an extension, in which case check which council covers your street.

Tell us about access

Stone is heavy and some pieces are long. When you enquire, tell us which floor the kitchen is on, whether there is a lift, and anything awkward on the way in, such as a narrow hall or a tight turn on the stairs. If parking is controlled on your street, check what contractor or visitor parking is available on the day using Barnet Council's parking pages, or the neighbouring council's if your street is across the boundary.
